Six-Panel Black Lacquer and Inlaid Screen

A Chinese six-panel black lacquer and inlaid screen from the 20th century. Each panel measures 183cm high, 41cm wide, 2.5cm deep. The screen features black lacquer finish with inlaid decoration. Provenance: Fernando Duran, Auction, Madrid. Condition: With wear, marks, knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Not all of the nails and hooks that join the individual panels are present, some are present but not attached. There are some areas of scratching to the raised elements. Chips, splits and losses, particularly to the outer edges. Patina and lifting to the brass feet.
