Signed Kenneth Olausson and numbered 5/10 verso. Pigment print, sheet. Unframed. Photographer Kenneth Olausson on his career and 10 years with Ronnie Peterson: "Just after turning fifteen, I borrowed my father's box camera to photograph Formula One World Champion Jim Clark at the GellerĂ¥sen circuit. That was my debut. Six years of travelling the world followed, covering motorcycle races in Europe and the United States. In 1967, I won Picture of the Year in the photography magazine 'SE'. In the autumn of 1968, I met Ronnie Peterson. The meeting marked the beginning of a long friendship and led me to travel to Monaco in 1969, when Ronnie emerged as a World Championship hopeful. In a fraction of a second and 25,000 photographs later, I had witnessed 48 Grands Prix with Ronnie, out of his total of 123 Grand Prix starts."
