Photographer Kenneth Olausson on his career and 10 years with Ronnie Peterson: "Just after turning fifteen, I borrowed my father's box camera to photograph Formula One World Champion Jim Clark at the Gelleråsen circuit. That was my debut. Six years of travelling the world followed, covering motorcycle races in Europe and the United States. In 1967, I won Picture of the Year in the photography magazine 'SE'. In the autumn of 1968, I met Ronnie Peterson. The meeting marked the beginning of a long friendship and led me to travel to Monaco in 1969, when Ronnie emerged as a World Championship hopeful. In a fraction of a second and 25,000 photographs later, I had witnessed 48 Grands Prix with Ronnie, out of his total of 123 Grand Prix starts."
