Charlotte PERRIAND (1903–1999) Rare dining table, circa 1965. Made of sipo wood, featuring a thick rectangular top with beveled edges and a pattern of faux tongue-and-groove joints and circular covers concealing threaded rods, resting on four elliptical legs arranged toward the center and assembled with lag screws. Unlike the rectangular tables typically produced by Steph Simon, this example lacks grooves running parallel to the edges of the long sides, which makes it significantly rarer, resembling the model created in 1935 for Paul and Ange Gutmann and the one presented at the 1936 Salon des Arts Ménagers.
