Axel Salto

A pair of decorative panels from Denmark, made of stained pine with painted decoration of deer. Height 192.5 x 65 each. PROVENANCE: The panels were until recently part of a building in Aalborg, likely created in connection with Axel Salto's stay in the city during the mid-1920s. During this time, Salto decorated the hall and dining room at Kragelund's factories together with Poul Henningsen.
