Fyrverkeriskålen (The Fireworks Bowl)

Trumpet-shaped glass with engraved decoration depicting a sky with fireworks, spectators, and ribbons. The model was designed in 1921 and exhibited at the 1925 Paris World's Fair, an exhibition that largely put Sweden on the map in the international art scene. "Fyrverkeriskålen" was also shown at the Swedish contemporary decorative arts exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago in 1927.
