Dining Table – Model T14B

Pierre Chapo

PIERRE CHAPO (1927–1987) Dining Table – Model T14B Solid elm Designed circa 1960–1964 H74 W183 Thick rectangular tabletop with sloping, rounded edges resting on two substantial pillars joined by a tall crossbar. Created in the 1960s, the T14 table is one of Pierre Chapo's iconic designs. Its deliberately architectural construction particularly highlights the mass and grain of the wood, while the tabletop's contoured edges and the powerful base lend it an almost monumental character.
