Designed in 1970 by architect Mario Bellini, "Camaleonda" is a modular sofa that revolutionized the concept of modular systems in contemporary design. Each module functions as an autonomous unit, connectable through hidden hooks that allow total freedom to join, separate or reorganize the elements. Sculptural character that creates a unique visual grid, like a three- constant evolution. Trained as an architect at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Mario Bellini founded his studio in 1987, achieving with his brand the Gold Medal of the Chartered Society of Designers of the United Kingdom. In addition, he has received 8 Compasso d'Oro awards and 25 of his works are in the permanent design exhibition at MoMA in New York. His profession goes beyond architecture and urbanism, as his passion for decoration has led him to be a furniture designer collaborating with internationally recognized brands such as Cassina, Kartell, Rosenthal, Venini, Vitra, Driade or Natuzzi.
