Norrköping wallpaper factory was founded in 1880 by Johan Alfred Hedenström and was for a long time the largest producer of wallpaper in Sweden, for designs were the man behind this cabinet, Erik Chambert, but also perhaps the most notable among all our pattern makers - Josef Frank. The cabinet is likely to be commissioned by someone in the factory management and is truly a masterpiece, comparable to the magnificent cabinet found in the collections of the Nationalmuseum
