In excellent condition (old new stock, brand new). Measurements:. The Accademia lamp is a supreme example of refined minimalism. It fuses geometry, functionality and an exquisite material sensitivity, typical of Italian design from the 70s. The flat diffuser attenuates the light and allows for soft and homogeneous illumination. Boeri made a table version and small wall sconces of the same model for Artemide. All of them showcase the minimalist and refined essence that defines Boeri's work. The structure is based on a trapezoidal shape, constructed with textured black lacquered steel. This material choice provides resistance and durability to the lamp, while giving it an elegant and modern touch. The geometry offers an interesting visual balance. The cotton fabric diffuser allows for soft and homogeneous illumination, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The use of a whitish tone contributes to maintaining the purity and simplicity of the overall design. Italian designer Cini Boeri trained at the Polytechnic of Milan, graduating in 1951. She began her professional activity independently in 1963, after a period of collaboration with Marco Zanuso, and dedicated herself to work in architecture and design. She has designed houses, apartments and commercial premises both in Italy and abroad, paying special attention to the functionality of space in small houses, as well as the psychological relationships between man and his environment. Currently, examples of her work can be seen in museums and exhibitions around the world.
